THE PRESIDENCY WE DIDN’T WIN
Had she won, this is the video Hillary would’ve walked out to on Election Night after winning the presidency. My team and I made this in the week leading up to election night. I remember feeling somewhat anxious and superstitious about making something assuming we’d win, but I never in a million years thought this wouldn’t play on the big screen at Javits Center. We had a final version but I could only ever find this rough cut.

THE SHOW (I POURED MY HEART INTO) THAT DIDN’T SELL
This is a sizzle I made for a docuseries following filmmakers embedded with all of the 2020 Democratic presidential candidates. I was told by everyone “this will sell, it’s so good” and then it didn’t. Sometimes I'll find myself daydreaming scenes we would've captured given the chance.

THE FILM I NEVER GOT TO MAKE
This is the sizzle I made that sold a show based on the thousands of hours of behind-the-scenes footage of our campaign. I had wanted to tell the story of our campaign – both the candidate and people alongside her who fought like hell and were left broken, mad, inspired, and scared. It morphed as so many things do and maybe someday I’ll revisit the original story. We’ll see.

The time I was filmed by my hero and had nothing good to say.
